Two people have been arrested after two people were shot over the weekend, Windsor police announced Wednesday.

According to police, a 32-year-old man and 35-year-old woman were found suffering from gunshot wounds at a home in the 200 block of Giles Boulevard West early Saturday morning. Their injuries were considered serious but not life-threatening.

Two men, aged 20 and 21, were identified as suspects and arrested at separate homes on Tuesday, police said in a media release Wednesday.

Each has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of discharging a firearm with intent to endanger, police say.

The Windsor police major crimes unit is investigating and asks anyone with information to contact them or CrimeStoppers to remain anonymous.
