Windsor man charged with child luring after Michigan investigation | CBC News

A Windsor man has been charged with child luring after a cross-border investigation. 

According to a Windsor police statement, police in Adrian, Mich., began investigation after a report of child luring involving a teenager in December 2022. 

Officers determined a man allegedly attempted to solicit photos from a 15-year-old, and sent the teenager photos and asked to meet in person. 

After Adrian police traced the IP address to the Windsor area, local officers took over the investigation. 

On Oct. 5, members of the Windsor Police Internet Child Exploitation unit performed a search in the 2700 block of Scarsdale Road. 

A 32-year-old Windsor man was arrested and charged with luring a child under 18 years of age via telecommunications.
