“And sometimes when I see kids clothes, I just grab them and I’ll put them, like, I put them in a storage box in my attic.

“My boyfriend doesn’t even really know that I do this, but we don’t know if we wanna have kids ever.

“But sometimes I can’t help myself!”

She then held up the items she’d picked up in her local store, kicking off with a cute knitted cardigan with mushrooms on the front.

“How f**king cute is that?” she added.

“It’s got little mushrooms on it.

Savvy shopper shows how she turns £3.70 into £530 – with just ONE trip to the charity store

“Six to 12 months, $5 (£3.90). Can you literally believe that?”

She also got another cardigan from the same brand, which was 12 to 18 months, brand new with tags on.

“Literally, how adorable is this?” Katie exclaimed.

The cardigan was £33 brand new, and “so cute”.

“I have thrifted both boys and girls clothes, because obviously, I don’t know if I’ll ever have kids.

“But I don’t know if I’ll… I guess if I don’t ever have them (kids), I will just give them away at some point, for a baby shower or something like that.

“But I’ll probably cry when I do!”

“My future babies will thank me!” Katie captioned her video.

People were quick to comment on the clip, with one writing: “I did this for years and now my ten month old son is wearing the clothes and it’s been one of my fav parts about being a mum!”

“This is so sweet!” Katie replied.

“I love how this app brings together every niche of person!” another added.

“I’ve been doing this for about 4 years & have things organised by size in boxes in my loft – getting our IVF referral next year.”

“I thought I was the only one doing this!” a third commented.

“Single and thrifting baby clothes!”

“I once bought a lil pair of yellow rain boots that had impressions of smiley faces on the soles,” someone else said.

“12 years later, my granddaughter had them on at the beach! Go for it!”
